Parliament questions 3 months extension for Uganda Wildlife Education Centre
MPs on the committee of Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises are set to call the Minister of Public Service Muruli Mukasa to explain why he extended the existence of the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre for three more months after it was rationalized by parliament and its existence was to end on 30th June. The committee is questioning where the minister got the power to ignore the decision of parliament. The position was reached when MPs interfaced with UWEC officials who were answering audit queries from the Auditor General's report for the 2022/2023 financial year.
