Police heavily deployed over security concerns
The heavy deployment of armed police officers and UPDF soldiers around Kampala was made after getting intelligence that a section of people were aiming at subverting the peace within Kampala City. Kituuma Rusoke, the police spokesperson says the same intelligence reports indicated how the anti-corruption march planned for tomorrow would disrupt peace. He says since the protests have not been cleared, they are illegal.
