Police, UPDF call for increased budgets over unpaid utility bills
The joint committees of Finance Planning and Economic Development and the Committee of Natural Resources of Parliament today met the Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs and the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the status report on the unpaid water bills from the National Water & Sewerage Corporation. All the agencies, Police, and Prisons agree that they have the debt for the water bills. They have urged the Members of Parliament to consider increasing their budgets to take care of these accumulated water bills.
