Political parties vie for Kawempe North seat in March by-election
More political parties continue to express interest in the Kawempe North by-election, slated for March 13, 2025. The Uganda Federal Alliance has announced that Fahad Kayondo will be their flag bearer in the race. The seat became vacant after the death of Mohammed Ssegiringa last month. Other parties fielding candidates include the National Unity Platform, FDC, DP, and NRM, among others.
