Political rift prompts second funeral for Ssegirinya
Due to political differences within the National Unity Platform, to which former Kawempe North MP Muhammad Ssegirinya belonged, a second funeral ceremony was held for him, with area MP Mathias Mpuuga as the chief mourner. Before the ceremonies began, MP Mathias Mpuuga had hoped to organize the funeral at a more spacious school playground instead of his homestead. However, NUP functionaries declined the request.
