Politicians are urged to maintain peace ahead of polls
Politicians are being urged to stop bitterness, including political hate speech, as we head for the 2026 polls, and instead embrace a peaceful election. This call by Works Minister General Edward Katumba Wamala came as he participated in special memorial prayers for the late Sarah Namusisi Kakungulu, mother to the titular head of Islam in Uganda, at their home in Kibuli.
