Prime Minister Nabbanja welcomes local government progress in Kitgum District
Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja has welcomed recent local government developments in Kitgum District.
While meeting market vendors at the newly completed Kitgum Main Market, the prime minister urged traders to make good use of the facilities. Built with government funding and support, the market can accommodate over 1,000 traders, most of whom are women today.
Nabbanja also pledged government support for the construction of a girls' dormitory block at Kitgum Comprehensive Secondary School, as well as for Christ the King Catholic Church and the Anglican St. Janan Luwum Church.
