Delegates in Eastern Uganda call for change as NRM structures are filled
Plans for the NRM primaries appear to be going well in other parts of the country. In eastern Uganda, delegates from the greater eastern region of Busoga, Bukedi, Bugisu, Sebei and Teso gathered in Mbale to discuss the party's options in the Central Executive Committee.
The delegates are considering electing David Calvin Echudo for the position of vice chairperson for Eastern Uganda, currently held by Captain Mike Mukula. The delegates say they are looking for new leadership in a bid to have grassroots concerns addressed at a higher level.
