GOLF :Team Kyayi Mukalu emerge winners in the men’s category
The Team Kyayi Mukalu duo of Mukasa Mulema and Abbas Luyombo emerged as the overall winners in the men’s category for the second leg of the I&M Bank Katogo Golf Series, held at the Entebbe Golf Course. The event, which attracted 132 golfers, saw Mulema and Luyombo return an impressive 40 points, earning themselves Rwanda Air tickets courtesy of the event partners. In a significant development after the competition, I&M Bank officially launched solar-powered floodlights on the 18th hole, enabling golfers to complete their rounds even after sunset. The series will return on August 9th for the third leg, which will be played under the Daytona format.
