NRM grassroots elections in Wakiso marred by chaos
The National Resistance Movement Party has successfully conducted grassroots elections afresh in Kireka D Cell, Kira Municipality, after the party canceled last week's polls there. Those polls were marred by violence after the voters' register was ignored, rendering the whole process chaotic. NRM electoral commission chairperson Tanga Odoi ordered all areas across the country that had conducted elections without following the party's register to re-organize another election.
