Project boosts sustainable farming in Terego district
The initiative to support farmers and landowners in the refugee-hosting district of Terego in the West Nile sub-region has boosted their mindset towards sustainable land management. This is achieved through agroforestry and beekeeping, which aim to conserve the degraded landscape and wetlands. The four-year project, run by Ecological Christian Organization and Nature Uganda with support from the European Union, focuses on building the abilities of refugees and local farmers.
