Prosecutors seek life sentence for Kwoyelo
Prosecutors and witnesses in the trial of former Lord's Resistance Army rebel group commander, Thomas Kwoyelo, have asked the court to sentence the convict to life imprisonment. Kwoyelo was convicted on August 13th this year by the International Crimes Division of the High Court on 44 counts of war crimes and crimes committed in northern Uganda. The court had set October 16th to start the sentencing hearing of Kwoyelo.
