Road users welcome new speed limits imposed by gov’t
Professional drivers and civil society organizations have welcomed the Ministry of Works' new speed guidelines, which set limits between 30-50 km/h in urban areas. The regulations come in response to the 2024 police report showing a 7% increase in road accidents—over 1,000 more crashes than in 2023.
