Security tightened as public prepares to welcome New Year
As members of the public prepare to go to various entertainment centers and places of worship to welcome the New Year, security has been beefed up, with traffic on some roads being diverted. In Mengo, near the Kabaka's palace, where the annual Nkuuka Music Festival has been prepared, some roads can only be accessed by pedestrians. In other parts of the city, however, business is going on normally.
