Specialized training for Kampala healthcare workers to tackle NCDs
Frontline healthcare workers in the Kampala Metropolitan area are undergoing specialized training to improve the diagnosis and treatment of integrated non-communicable disease (NCD) multi-morbidity. This groundbreaking initiative aims to equip healthcare professionals with the skills needed to detect and manage multiple chronic illnesses in patients with conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and cancer while addressing the growing burden of these diseases in Uganda.
