URA officials say over UGX 2 billion in revenue is lost annually
Uganda Revenue Authority has started a campaign to educate traders and residents of West Nile and northern Uganda on the dangers of smuggling and related illicit trade. According to officials of the tax body, the country loses 2 billion shillings every year due to smuggling in West Nile and northern Uganda.
