US pledges continued support to Uganda in HIV-AIDS fight
The United States government has pledged continued support to Uganda in the fight against HIV/AIDS to ensure that people on treatment keep receiving their medicine. The US Ambassador to Uganda, William Popp, spoke during a visit to Fort Portal Regional Referral Hospital. He said the US government's support to Uganda is 1 billion USD, of which 550 million USD is for health programs.
