Youth use faith to rebuild fractured hope in ghettos
In Bwaise, Kawempe Division, a group of youths has embarked on a faith-based approach to rebuild the fractured hope of people living in underdeveloped neighborhoods, or ghettos. Led by Mustapha Bossa, the Turf Empire initiative launched the Turf Empire Dawa Project in 2023 with the aim of making ghettos a better and more hopeful place to live. These youths believe that through the word of God and the scriptures, they can build a strong mental foundation for people in the ghettos, helping them transform their mindset into a successful venture for both themselves and their communities.
