FUFA Awards return after four-year hiatus
The FUFA Awards return this year for the seventh edition following a four-year break caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The revived awards, launched today, will see FUFA partner with MTN to reward the best football players in the men’s and women’s categories. This year’s event is scheduled to take place on the 30th of next month at the Kampala Serena Hotel. The awards were last held in 2021, when Vipers SC midfielder Bobosi Byaruhanga and Kampala Queens forward Fauzia Najjemba were named Best Male and Female Footballers of the Year, respectively
