MOTORSPORT: Jas Mangat wins Pearl of Africa rally
We start with motorsport, where Jas Mangat has won the Pearl of Africa rally in Buikwe district. Mangat, who was competing in both the Africa rally Championship and the national Rally championship took maximum points in both categories. However, he was followed by Zambia’s Leroy Gomes in the Africa Rally Championship, with Rwandan Driver Giancarlo Davite. Meanwhile, Ponsiano Lwakataka bettered his national Rally Championship lead after coming second. Mike Mukula junior won the club man Rally Championship as Duncan Mubiru once again failed to finish the pearl of Africa Rally.
