Ugandan boxers struggle with poor pay, unfulfilled promises
At least 365 pugilists in Uganda wake up every morning to train and earn a living from boxing as their sole profession. However, many of these young athletes are living a miserable ghetto life after failing to realize their dreams in the profession they cherish. This is attributed to meager pay and, at times, the failure of boxing promoters to fulfill their financial obligations.
