At least one dead as several count losses in Sironko floods

Heavy rainfall in the Elgon region has claimed the life of 20-year-old Edrine Namadala, who was swept away by floods while trying to rescue children trapped in neighboring homes. The incident occurred late at night after continuous rain caused rivers Nalugugu and Wasekese to burst their banks.
