Muntu urges Ugandans to unite against NRM government

The President of the Alliance for National Transformation (ANT), Mugisha Muntu, has emphasised that removing President Yoweri Museveni from power alone will not be enough to address Uganda’s leadership challenges. He stressed the need for Ugandans to elect leaders of integrity, individuals committed to genuine representation and effective service delivery, rather than personal gain. Muntu made these remarks during a consultation meeting with ANT and People’s Front for Freedom (PFF) party structures in Gulu City, as part of discussions on a potential coalition ahead of the 2026 general elections.
