Government pushes tourism investment

The government has reaffirmed its commitment to positioning tourism as a key pillar in Uganda’s 10-fold development strategy, calling for increased private sector investment to sustain the sector’s strong post-pandemic recovery. Speaking at this year’s World Tourism Day celebrations in Arua, leaders urged greater private investment to sustain the sector’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and unlock its full potential.
