Uganda has been urged to strengthen labour standards as it deepens participation in global trade and the African Continental Free Trade Area. Speaking at an International Labour Organisation seminar in Kampala, Marva Corley-Coulibaly, Chief of the Globalisation, Competitiveness and Labour Standards Unit, said improving working conditions and aligning policies with international standards will attract quality investment and promote decent work.
