Water sector gets UGX 160 billion boost from World Vision

Uganda’s water and sanitation sector has received a significant boost, with World Vision announcing a Shs160 billion investment to expand access to clean and safe water across 41 programme areas nationwide. The five-year initiative, slated to run from 2026 to 2030, will improve water supply in rural and urban communities, strengthen water systems in health facilities and schools, and enhance menstrual hygiene management.
