The Electoral Commission has asked police to investigate the chaos in Kiruhura and Kazo that occurred when the NUP presidential candidate was campaigning in the two districts. Kyagulanyi’s team, which was en route to a rally venue in Kiruhura District, was attacked by people wearing yellow T-shirts — the color of the ruling NRM party. The attackers were wielding sticks, and some reportedly threw stones at Kyagulanyi’s motor convoy.
