Katikkiro Mayiga asks government to crack down on quack doctors

The Prime Minister of Buganda Kingdom, Charles Peter Mayiga, has urged the government to crack down on quack doctors who are putting Ugandans’ lives at risk. He was speaking at the Department of Endocrinology and Non-Communicable Diseases at Mengo Hospital. Globally, non-communicable diseases, including cancer and diabetes, claim over 40 million lives annually, according to the World Health Organization.
