Equal opportunities report highlights progress, persistent gaps in inclusion

Uganda’s progress in promoting equal opportunities over the last four decades has been hailed as remarkable, but gaps in implementation, inclusion, and impact still linger. As the Equal Opportunities Commission presents its annual report, attention now turns to whether government policies are translating into real change for women, youth, and vulnerable communities. Minister for Gender, Labour, and Social Development Betty Amongi made the report public during a dissemination meeting at Hotel Africana on Tuesday.
