Retired Bishop of Namirembe Diocese, Kityo Luwalira, has expressed concern about the rising number of people who no longer support development initiatives in their communities. Luwalira made the remarks while speaking at a fundraising dinner to raise money for the construction of a 2,000‑seat chapel at King’s College Budo. He added that the existing chapel, built in 1950, can no longer accommodate the current number of students at the school. To realize the project, he said, over 1 billion shillings is required.
