More than fifteen missing in Bukwo, Kapchorwa after landslides

More than fifteen people are still missing after landslides reportedly buried at least four houses in Chesower Sub-county, Bukwo District, this morning. Rescue efforts, jointly conducted by locals, the Uganda Red Cross Society, and the Uganda Wildlife Authority, have so far resulted in three people being rescued alive and two bodies recovered by press time. In a related development, four people were killed on Saturday in landslides in Kapchorwa District, also in the Sebei sub-region.
