30 schools take part in ‘King’s Gambit’ junior chess championship

More than 189 students from over 30 schools have participated in the King’s Gabimt Junior Chess Championship at Silver Spoon Primary School in Kibuli, Kampala.The tournament was aimed at enabling participants compete and qualify for the East Africa Junior Chess Tournament in Kenya in January 2026.
