Entebbe Municipality, in partnership with the army, Roofings Group, and Youth Go Green, has launched an initiative aimed at restoring the environment through tree planting. This campaign aligns with the launch of the Entebbe Green Schools Initiative and has resulted in the planting of over 10,000 trees across 16 schools so far. This effort comes in response to the Municipality’s concerns regarding the decision by the Ministry of Investment to allocate 150 acres of Kitubulu Forest land to Chimes Farm for development.
