More than 200 pilgrims from Uganda have been flagged off to Tanzania to commemorate 26 years since the passing of Julius Nyerere, Tanzania’s founding President. They will join fellow pilgrims from other East African Community partner states who will congregate at Butiama in Tanzania, Nyerere’s ancestral home, between 26th and 30th September 2025.
