EC ON ELECTORAL BRIBES: Byabakama vows to prosecute candidates bribing voters

The nomination of candidates for Municipality and City Division Chairpersons and Councillors, including those representing Special Interest Groups, entered its second day today, with calls from the Electoral Commission for candidates to adhere to the established guidelines. Electoral Commission Chairperson, Justice Byabakama, has cautioned religious leaders against inviting nominated candidates to fundraising events, as this constitutes a form of voter bribery.
