KCCA, gov’t of Japan launch traffic control centre

Kampala Capital City Authority has unveiled a Traffic Control Centre designed to ease congestion and improve traffic flow across the city. The project supported by the Government of Japan, is connected to 30 major intersections fitted with smart traffic lights and detectors that monitor traffic in real time.
