Kyagulanyi slams corruption, vows to revive coffee sector

Today, Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu, the presidential candidate for the National Unity Platform, campaigned in Mityana District. He condemned the escalating corruption within government institutions, asserting that it has now permeated parts of the opposition as well. Kyagulanyi also pledged to revive Buganda’s once-thriving coffee industry, attributing its decline to political interference. However, his campaign journey was once again marred by police diversions and poor road conditions, which delayed his arrival at several venues. DAVID IJJO reports.
