Health workers in the Busoga Sub-region have raised concern over the rising number of suicide attempts. They report that many individuals — including young people — are silently battling depression and stress-related disorders. According to the health workers, numerous suicide attempts are linked to factors such as financial hardship, family conflicts, academic pressure, and other underlying social challenges.
