ADRA Uganda makes strides in defending health rights

In the wake of years of insurgency in northern Uganda, a renewed effort is underway to restore hope, especially for children. In districts like Agago, Kitgum, Lamwo, and Pader, the ‘Together Project’ by ADRA Uganda is making strides in defending health rights and empowering vulnerable communities. At a recent midterm review meeting, organizations including Oxfam, CARE, and Right to Play highlighted progress in training health workers, supporting survivors of gender-based violence, and equipping girls with life-saving knowledge about reproductive health.
