Relatives petition Law Society to end Kazinda’s 15-year legal battle

Relatives of Geoffrey Kazinda, the imprisoned former Principal Accountant in the Office of the Prime Minister, have petitioned the leadership of the Uganda Law Society to support their plea and urge the Supreme Court to issue a ruling on an appeal they believe will finally conclude his 15-year legal battle. The NUP Secretary General was also present at the meeting and appealed to the Uganda Law Society to provide legal representation for their 150 members who have been arrested so far.
