Parliamentary campaigns in Kampala entered their fourth day leading up to the January 2026 polls, with independent candidates showing strong enthusiasm in their electioneering efforts. A total of over 2,700 aspirants are competing for 353 constituency seats, 146 District Woman MP seats, and 20 seats for Special Interest Groups in the upcoming 12th Parliament.
