NUP Deputy Spokesperson faces incitement charges

Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro, the National Unity Platform’s deputy spokesperson and aspiring Nakawa East MP, has appeared before the Nakawa Magistrates Court for his bail application hearing.
Mufumbiro faces charges of inciting NUP supporters to murder security personnel in Kampala.
Inside court, before proceedings began, the handcuffed Mufumbiro said he is being “persecuted, not prosecuted.”
