Red angels emerge champions in Blind Football Uganda Championships

The fourth edition of the Blind Football Uganda Championships saw Makerere’s Red Angels defeat Ancilla from Mukono 2-0 in the finals to lift the trophy in the competition held today at the Makerere University Rugby Grounds. This year’s event included six teams, one of which was from Kenya. The competition also served as a selection process for the Ugandan national team that will compete in the Africa Blind Football Championship, which will be hosted in Kampala in October this year.
