Sebei’s youngest LCV Chairperson flag bearer

More than one hundred individuals are set to vie for the local council 5 chairperson positions across the country in 2026 on the National Resistance Movement ticket. These will tussle out with opponents from opposition parties and independent candidates.
Some of the NRM LCV chairperson flag bearers are youth who beat the old guard in the primaries. One of them is Vincent Chelimo, the LCV flag bearer for Kapchorwa district, who in his thirties, is determined to fight corruption and improve service delivery should he win the seat in the forthcoming general elections.
