Ugandans in the diaspora ask NIRA to create more centres

Ugandans in the Diaspora, especially those in the US, have asked the central government to introduce a more inclusive programme to enable them to acquire Ugandan national IDs and passports in all areas where they live and work. The National Identification and Registration Authority – NIRA – recently announced a four-day ID enrolment exercise in Boston, USA and hundreds of Ugandans showed up.
