Youths to hold Peace Run at Kololo on September 21

Hundreds of youths will, on Sunday, the 21st of September, converge at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds in Kampala for a run aimed at commemorating the United Nations International Day of Peace, also known as World Peace Day, which is observed annually in September. Organised by the National Youth and Students Centre, the run will begin with peace processions in every district, organised by the youth leadership of those respective districts. The proceeds from the run will help support the National Youth and Students Centre in its bid to fund leadership programs that will enhance self-discovery, innovation, and sportsmanship, among others.
