Uganda rolled out a new secondary school curriculum in 2020, focusing on 21st-century skills like critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication. The curriculum also introduced continuous assessment, project-based learning, and a new letter-grade system.

Today, we take a closer look at how this curriculum is being implemented and the challenges it faced at the start. Our guest, Gilbert Siima, Manager of the Secondary Department at NCDC, shares insights.
