Celebrating the 9th annual National Youth Festival | MORNING AT NTV
Over the years, numerous youth celebrations have taken place, including the recently concluded International Youth Day festivities. Thus, the 9th Annual National Youth Festival serves as a post-International Youth Day Celebration. Uganda holds the distinction of being the world's second youngest country in terms of population, with a rate of 48.5%, following Niger. According to research conducted by the Brookings Institute, over 70% of Uganda's population consists of young people. Regrettably, more than 83% of these youths, aged between 15 and 24, remain unemployed regardless of their educational attainment—an issue of paramount concern worldwide, underscoring the significance of this occasion.
