What awaits the new BOU leadership? | MorningAtNTV
Earlier this week, the president appointed Michael Atingi-Ego as the full governor, marking a significant transition in the country’s central bank leadership, further shaken by the appointment of Augustus Nuwagaba as the deputy governor. Ego had been serving as the acting governor since 2020, filling in the shoes of the late Mutebile. However, the names and curricula vitae of both appointees have been submitted to parliament for approval, as per constitutional requirements.
