Museveni inaugurates Mirama-Kabale-Karukara transmission line
As part of his countrywide tours to assess the progress of the Parish Development Model, President Museveni has inaugurated the newly constructed Mirama-Kabale-Karukara double-circuit transmission line in Hamuko Village, Igomanda Parish, in Rubanda District. The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa, and Vice President Jessica Alupo, among others. During his address, President Museveni explained the importance of the high-voltage electricity infrastructure, announcing plans to establish an iron ore factory in the region.
